Our People

The Plant, the Process and the People

Here at Phoenix Industries, Inc. our most valuable resource is our people. Trite but true.  Tenure with the company ranges from six to forty years with five full-time people manufacturing and shipping our products and five people in sales and support in the front office. Everything manufactured here in our Dallas, Texas plant is made and packed by hand on a daily basis by people who have made this company their home for years.

sally

Sally is the first person many people see when they come to our offices. She is the glue here, and we all have to pick up the slack quite a bit when she's not in the office. She handles distributor orders and shipping and invoicing and just about anything else that comes up during the course of a day.

judy

Judy sets up distributors and sales reps for business and handles invoicing questions and accounts receivable. She was here for years back in the 1990's and recently returned to help out when things got really busy in 2008.  If you are a rep or a distributor, or if you have a question about an invoice or need to make a payment, chances are you'll be talking to Judy.

frank

I'm Frank. If you need to place an order as an end-user, have a question about our products, or just about anything else, you can call me at (800) 658-9811 or email at sales@meangreen.us, and I'll get right on it.

And this is Sam!

* Update: 9 September 2009: Sadly, Sam was run over and killed yesterday, 8 September, when she jumped out of the truck to chase a squirrel just a couple of blocks from the office. She had become a real fixture here at Mean Green, and we all feel her absence very strongly. She was my buddy in the sales department, and the happiest dog I have ever known.

We tried to get our office manager Lynn to pose for a picture, but she was just moving too fast.

george

George has been with the company for over forty years! He is still the man who makes and ships every batch of Mean Green Power Hand Scrub, and he'll turn 80 years old this year! Drive by our office any weekday, and you're liable to see George on a forklift loading trucks or on the dock strapping drums of Super Strength Cleaner/Degreaser to a pallet for shipment.

salgerardo

Sal runs the daily operations in the plant, and Gerardo makes and packs our four-gallon pails of Mean Green Power Hand Scrub and Organic Hand Scrub, among other responsibilities. Here they are bottling Mean Green Liquid for shipment to a distributor.

marcy

Every tub of Mean Green Power Hand Scrub up to the four-gallon size is packed by hand here by Marcy, Sal's wife. She also cooks the best pot of beans you ever tasted. They are the perfect compliment to Sal's fajitas at every company dinner.

Here are a few more pictures of the plant where we manufacture, pack and ship our products. It's the people, however, who make the difference here at Mean Green. The most important people here though are our customers!
